This introductory, self-paced online one module course explains what community solar is , how it works and how it benefits communities. It provides an overview of business opportunities in community solar , and explains the roles of developers, technical assistance partners, i nvestor/ f inancier, host or solar array site, installation partners, community outreach/liaison, state and municipal government .
In this course you’ll gain a comprehensive understanding of community solar technology and how it expands access to clean energy, especially for underserved communities. Learn how solar can be made accessible to everyone, including people with limited resources and communities of color, ensuring benefits are distributed fairly and sustainably.
